Hi did you have any luck with the sauna or have you not had the chance yet?

He seems healthy . Looks good and is a great eater. I'll try to get a hold of him tonight and smell him. He is very nervous and hard to catch. I've only held him twice for about 30 seconds.
How do I do the sauna as I've never had to do it ? He just had a shed 2 weeks ago and it seemed to go well.
Hi any update with you guy. Have you manage to locate or improve the smell issue?

I have this same problem. Though, mine may be a little different. I ordered a pair online recently. When I first got them (from a breeder I found online that I've never used before and will not be using again) they smelled exactly the way you describe. My guess is that the person wasn't taking very good care of them. They smell just like they've been kept by the hundreds in one enclosure, left to roam around in their pee and poop for days. It's been a week now and I still smell it on them.

That's really not a nice situation to think about.
All I can think is if that's the case their house must stink!
Hopefully using the sauna method should help you new geckos freshen up a bit & make their skin feel better.
Some people should not be allowed to keep animals full stop & if people are keeping geckos in in stinking overcrowded tanks then they fit into that group!
