Default Elemental Exotic's 2017 corn snake clutches.

Got our first pip of the year today, out of Mudd and Max.
Pairing is Caramel Tessera (het) to Classic Tessera (homo, Super) het Caramel.
Clutch is a breeding loan project two years in the making and there are 22 eggs.
This first baby appears to be a Caramel Tessera.

First baby is out and two more pips. I did trim the egg a bit on the left pip so he wasn't so constricted.

Looks like two Caramels so far and not sure but I think the baby in the trimmed egg is a Classic.

First one out has a perfect dorsal stripe from neck to tail tip. Didn't take a picture but it's belly is almost totally clear, with only a few random checks. Pretty neat head stamp on it too.

Not totally sure just yet. Caramel Tesseras will be somewhere between $120-$150 and the Classics will be around $100-$120.

Got one more pip, from the egg under the potential Classic. Thinking this new one is a Caramel, so 3 Caramels and 1 Classic so far, it looks like.

The 5th baby has pipped, also appears to be a Caramel.

This one has a cool head pattern.

And more of the other pips.

Too flipping cute. Is there any morph of corn snake that is "expensive"? I mean, ball pythons (for example) have simple cheap morphs, but they also have fancy morphs that are hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.

Last check before bed and the 6th baby has pipped. Another Classic, giving us 4 Caramels and 2 Classics.

Sorry, for some reason I wasn't notified about this reply. Tessera used to be expensive, $1,200 each for males when it first went to market but it's a dominant gene so dropped in price fast, along with BHB crashing the market on them a few years ago. Tessera is still being used in combo with other genes to make world's firsts that are still going for $500-$900. But I think currently Palmetto, a leucistic gene, is the most expensive morph at around $4,000 each in the USA, they are less elsewhere. Second most expensive is scaleless but that one has been dropping for the past two years or so.
