    Default Exo Terra Tanks

Has Exo Terra discontinued the 18x18x24 tanks? PetSmart had them on sale last month, and I tried getting one, but they didn't have any in stock. I contacted the main office and they said they would call my store and try to work something out; so they did, but the only one they had was broken when I got there. The store manager said they were having trouble getting them from the distributor, and I see that Petco doesn't even have that size on their website anymore. Amazon has them, but for the higher price, and now I'm wondering if they will even have them once their stock is gone.

I won't need a bigger one for my garg until around Christmas, so I have time to look, but I do want an Exo Terra. Is an 18x18x18 too low for an adult gargoyle? Those seem to be available, but I don't know if they're comfortably large enough for an adult.

I personally like the Zoo Med ones just fine as well. Maybe if they are having problems sourcing the ExoTerra from Hagen, they can order the Zoo Med ones? Same dimensions.

I don't think so as I recently purchased one from a local small-chain pet store, that supplies Exo-Terra's.
I personally rarely buy them new though as they are ridiculously priced. I buy them used off of Craigslist or Kijiji, lol.
Maybe they are just having a hard time getting them shipped/driven in..?
An 18" x 18" x 18" would be okay, but they really do love those extra 6 inches. I know that is how my cresties are.
I do have some in the 18" x 18" x 18" tanks though as I am constantly in fear that my gravid females are gonna take a fall. I am pretty paranoid, lol.
    Hope this helped!

Well, I know they have the new 18x18x36 out, so maybe they are focusing on stocking more of that one? According to the exo terra site, it is still listed with all the other small sizes:

I dont think so, my pet warehouse has them in stock (I get them for 85$ vs the 100+ that chain stores charge, bwuahah) so idk, but I don't see why Exo Terra would discontinue one of their tanks.

Most likely petco and petsmart just have shitty stocking skills hehe.
