Lightbulb Pangea gecko diet breeding formula ? Results

Hi noticed that my usual Pangea supplier has just started selling the breeding formula of Pangea. My order arrived today so yet to try it (my geckos that is!) but is anyone else using this & if so what response have you had so far with your geckos?

My first two gargoyle eggs were laid yesterday & given the digging going on I should have a few more in the next few days.
Just hoping this diet is excepted by my geckos or I will have to sneakily mix if with other flavours.

I haven't tried it but was wondering the same thing. Also, not sure what it's for? Does it have added supplements?

Well according to this Pangea site
    "-Very Palatable.
-Most of the protein and fat from insect sources.
-Higher fat content for great breeding results.
    -Maximum calcium levels.
-Excellent for Breeders but can also be fed to geckos of all life stages."
Other than that I know no more.
So here's hoping for my girls to keep up their calcium & weight during the breeding season towards the end of the last season a couple of their eggs seemed to be lacking a little calcium, all survived but we're softer & more fragile so hoping that this might improve on that.
However would like other people's opinion if they have used it.

Jeesh, that's a lot. How many Geckos do you have? Let us know how it goes.

Looking forward to seeing the answer to this, so thanks for making the thread!

The biggest difference nutritionally is that is has the max calcium levels for an "all life stages" diet. The fat is a hair higher for Pangea diets but not by much (only 0.1%), the protein is 1% lower than the max of other Pangea diets, and is a mix of protein sources. Palatabiligy seems to be fine depending on the gecko (of my bunch). While I would not reach for this as a diet to put on weight (I would go with BPZ with much much higher protein and fat), the calcium levels seem like they should support breeding females pretty well for keepers that don't offer supplemental calcium during the season.

I mixed up the new breeding diet formula last night. The diet is considerably thicker than the other diets & last night does not look like much was eaten. However this is not unusual when I introduce a new flavour or food. I will have to give it a week before I pass judgment on if it's going to be excepted or not. Here's hoping it will.
    Will keep you posted.

Mine seem to love it. A lot of my pickier eaters take better to the Breeding Formula than the other flavors or at least seem to consume more of it.

So far my gargoyles seem to be trying it at least.
Not so much is being eaten as compared with other flavours but it does seem both heavier & thicker in consistency & we are still only a few days into this flavour.

All my gargoyles & my little baby mossy 'Oak' are all eating the breeding formula ok now. Taken them a few days to get use to it, however they still currently prefer the apricot & banana flavour if they get a choice!
