    Default Stuck tail shed? Maybe?

Hi, I have a quick question for you guys. A couple days ago I noticed a portion of my gecko's tail (tip) that looked a little odd. I'm honestly not sure if it's always looked like this and I just never noticed, or if this appeared recently. Regardless, I would like your input on it. I just want to be sure it's not a piece of stuck shed or something. I don't want it to end up constricting that portion of his tail. I can get better pictures if need be. Any help would be much appreciated!Name: gecko3.jpg

Hmmm. It doesn't LOOK like shed, to me, but you know him better than anyone here. So if it looks strange, it's always worth putting him in a "bath" and seeing if you can remove it gently. Better to be safe than sorry!

Could you get better pictures? It looks (from what I can tell) like a healed over scar- a tad got dropped and it healed over.

Hmm... Thegrymzoo is right- it doesn't look like shed. It also doesn't look like the scar like I mentioned. It actually looks like the tail pad. But, it won't hurt to give a bath, but IMO it's the tail pad and nothing is wrong. But, I'm by no means an expert.

    Gorgeous gorgeous gecko btw.

Awesome, thank you for the replies! I will give it a little bath tomorrow. Here are a couple more shots of it.
