    Lol, I just realized I have two CC IP cams myself that have that for general security that I mostly forget about unless something comes up and I need to playback from storage (that was rare, mostly boring stuff like to make sure my kids were actually cleaning/doing homework when they said they were and there was suspicious contradictory evidence, etc..) and watch. But when they were new I would play with panning/watching my cats at night - automatically switch to night viewing when lights go out. Never thought to set up to spy directly on my geckos, I will need to try it thanks!
