Default Pics of my new rhacs!! (big pics)

I took a couple of quick shots while I was altering their enclosures. They're pretty dark (especially the one of the chahoua) but it gives a general idea.

...the crappy pic of my new chahoua on a piece of cork flat. I fed him some of Clarks diet and put him in his smaller enclosure that I'll post pics of later. It's got the sweetest little face with those bug eyes, and those little gecko fingers....... so completely adorable!!

You can see quite a bit of the leachie's color. Even though the photo is dark, she looks just the same as usual. She's really that dark! (I held her for the first time when I took that photo. ) Her color just amazes me. She has those peach bars on her sides, with dark reticulation all over, and the top of her head is black! I'm so happy!!

Thanks for looking at my crappy pics and reading my rant. I feel like I just won the lottery or something and I had to share .

Nice rhacs Marina. Welcome to the world of leachies and chahouas. I'm glad you're able to handle your leachie--mine is a terror already. Last time I tried to pick her up, I got barked and snapped at. :? . But she's still awesome. Gotta love those Nuu Ami attitudes. What locale is your?

She's a Grand Terre type B. She's really flighty right now but hopefully she'll calm down. It amazes me how smart she is though. Just the way she behaves shows more depth than cresteds. How are your Nu Amis doing? You must have quite a few of them by now . Thanks for the warm welcome .

I currently only have that one--she's (incubated for nearly 4 months) doing good and is around 6 months old now. The breeder I was buying out seems to be having some family isssues and I can understand that. In the mean time, I have to try and finance this female chahoua and a few more fattails and leos. If everything turns around, hopefully I'll have 3 or 4 of them (Nuu Ami, all related though). Thanks for asking. On another note, I'm shooting for the CF dark morphs next year or the R. trachryrhynchus. It will all depend on how next year's breeding season goes.

Aha!! Are you looking at Mike's CF's too? They're pretty sweet! I'm trying to save up for a trachy too but I think that the breeder pricing special will be long gone by the time that I get the money . Let me know how your projects turn out! I'm looking forward to seeing your Nu Ami mature into her colors .

Yeah. I spoke to Mike long before he posted an ad for them. Wish I had've taken him up on the offer--quite a bit sweeter  . Anyway, you never know with the trachys, if you are seriously up for them next year, I'm sure we could arrange a deal where I got 2 and you got 1 or 2 for that breeder price or at least close to it. As far as the Nuu Ami goes, I wish I could capture the pink she's showing already. She has lots of potential to be a stunner.

Awesome. If you get that pair send me lots of pics! (...And put me first on the list for future offspring!!!) I think I'm gonna stick with different types of GT and a CF would be amazing. If I get to the point of acquiring a trachy I'll let you know.
