    Default Annoying Dirty Glass

My turtle tank keeps getting annoying white marks which appear to be dried water and seem impossible to clean. Any advice for preventing or cleaning it? I have heard that getting filtered water will stop it.

It is from the minerals in water - bottled and filtered water will still do this, but if you use distilled or R/O water to mist you shouldn't have this problem. Letting vinegar sit on it for 30 min to an hour and then wiping off followed by rinsing wipe of distilled (without the turtle in there, then letting dry until no more vinegar smell if any is left before returning turtle) is one method, but if your water spots are stubborn it can take multiple soakings. Personally if I have build up after running out of distilled water I just take a razor blade scraper (they sell at hardware stores) and scrape it off, faster and easier for me.
