    Default am i feeding/spraying enough?

well the past month or so i've seen feeding every 2-3 days, usually every 3. i only feed CGD. i mist about the same frequency. my house has a consistent humidity of about 60 without any spraying, and they're not having any problems shedding.

do you guys think what i'm doing is enough or should i increase it?

if you have no toes stuck together things must be ok. as the weather warms up, i would increase the feeding to every other day. not nuch at first, but they should increase their appetite as spring and summer come along.

Is there a scientific basis for not feeding every day? Do geckos not feed every day in the wild - or at least try to feed every day? I realise that there are some snakes that feed infrequently, but who would want to eat with a whole rat disolving inside their belly . I'd have thought that a small lizard would spend a good portion of its waking life searching out food - but I don't know.

    Anyone got facts?

i noticed that my gex do not eat every day, even if food is offered, so i cut back to save some money, and not waste as much.

My juvies seldom eat the first day I offer food. They seem to prefer their meals slightly aged, so I feed every other day. I don't know if my adults would eat every day or not. I don't want to waste any more food than I already do (they spill it everywhere), so they can eat every other day...

Ah, I see. So it's not a concern that you might overfeed, more that they're getting all they want with food every other day.

Ours seems to eat something almost every day, and we only mix up a small quantity of CGD, but we still end up throwing away more than she eats

I feed everyday, but they don't always eat it. I waste a lot of food.

In the winter, I've been feeding every 3-4 days... they don't seem to eat more frequently than this. During the warmer months, they eat every day to other day.
I mist 2x's a day priarily b/c it's their only drinking source, but also b/c my place is SO dry in the winter. I will likely cut down to one shorter misting in the summer.
