What insects can you feed crested geckos? I have a 5 month old 7 inch male crested gecko. I've read you aren't supposed feed juveniles meal worms... At what point can you?
He loves insects so I would like to treat them to him more often.

    Thanks!

mealworms aren't the best. they are hard for them to digest because of their exo-skeleton. If you want to feed bugs, go with crickets (most easily available in pet stores) or dubia roaches (the best feeder out there but you usually have to order them from someone)

I generally don't feed mealworms, but one or two shouldn't pose a problem. As mentioned other bugs at better and can be fed more frequently. Once a week is great.

Thanks! I have previously had a leopard gecko so I'm still getting used to the new rules. and I do give him gut loaded crickets 1x a week.
