    Default vampire crabs with crested?

Would this be safe if I had them in a 48"x18" footprint tank?

Terrible idea. First of all they need way different environment needs. Vampire crabs need to live entirely in an aquatic environment which wouldn't work as the crestie would have to avoid the water entirely as first of all the crab would attack the crested gecko and plus the gecko couldn't travel downwards as the entire bottom would have to be water, than if it misses a jump etc or climbs down to the water it is at risk. Plus they will transfer diseases etc as the crestie would definitely drink or end up in the water at some point.

I had a vampire crab in with crested for about a year. The vampire crab spent much more time out of the water than in and never threatened the geckos in any way. They won't even attack a cricket. Lost the crab to a bad molt- still have that gecko.
