I lost this little one because of an ignorant roommate.
I had only had her for a week, one of my Tinley pick ups and a Christmas present from my best friend. I was ecstatic about her.
She was going to be in my very special projects, and she was already one of my favorites. She had the best, silliest personality and loved to eat bugs. I loved every single thing about her.

Then I came home only to find her exhibiting signs of a respiratory infection and she was slipping away fast. I can only imagine the trip and acclimating to a new environment weakened her immune system. Over the past weekend I came home to my roommate with the AC on below 60 degrees in the house because he was cold. Even though we have told him numerous times that you have to be very careful with the temperatures because of the geckos and snakes.
Both times I had come home from work after misting the geckos before I left, so it was basically the perfect breeding ground for an RI.

I am completely torn up on the inside, and I can't believe something so special to me slipped away so easily. I'm going to miss you so much, Moon Sugar.

I am so so sorry about your loss! I recognized the gecko and was thinking "oh no" when I saw that she had passed. RIP little one.
