Sweet spider! I really want to get a cool spider, but I'm afraid that it will come out and eat me. I have a really bad fear if them.

I used to be afraid of them too. After I got my first one I was hooked. At the highest count I had 10! Some of them can be nasty, and other are big babies. I have never been bit. You just have to get the calmer ones.

Hmmm, cute? I have no experience with tarantulas, but know a lot of people enjoy them! How big will this little critter get? Congrats! At least the housing is small and easy

I like spiders, just from a distance and not in my home. lol, I don't dislike spiders, they just scare me a little. Especially when I don't know what type it is and wither or not its dangerous/harmful to me.

This one could top out with a diagonal leg span measurement of about 8 inches. The housing is small now, but this one will need a 10 gallon at a minimum as an adult.

I do allow a few "wild" spiders in my home as long as I know they are harmless. They are great at catching the cricket escapees!

Looks like little "Kit" might be getting close to a molt. I sure hope so, these guys worry me when they are this small!
