Default Why did my gecko make this sound?

Mocha just did the wierdest thing. i was hand feeding him a large cricket and held it so he only took half, and he sunk his eyes in and started making this wierd noise, he never did this before and ive fed him large crickets half at a time. i found this audio online and it sounds exactly like this. does anyone know what it means?

    Agreed^!

That's crested gecko chirping. They often do this when in the presence of a lady gecko. Or in your case, an exciting food item.
