    Default Smaug in the sun! (Honduran milk)

    Today was nice, sunny and warm but not too hot, so did a photo shoot with three of the snakes. This is Smaug, my husband's hypo tangerine Honduran milksnake.

















    Too many snakes! 20 species and counting. 1.2.plus Crested geckos 2.2 Gargoyle geckos 0.2 Chihuahua 2.2 evil cats.

    2.5.1 leopard geckos, 1.1 bearded dragons, 1.1 crested geckos, 0.1 Madagascar day gecko, 1.1 tokays, 1.0 cave racer, 1.1 corn snakes, 1.1 northern pine snakes, 1.0 royal python, 1.1 Everglades rat snakes, 1.0 gargoyle gecko.

    No, he was fairly good although he did keep trying to get down to the grass so he could hide. He's always had a pretty decent temperament for a Honduran even when he was very young. And now he's pretty calm and good with handling.

    I recall when they first came out how expensive they were and what notorious biters they were but over 10 yrs later the prices have come down and they seem to have tamed down a bit.
