    Default New dubia colony

    hey all,
Bought a starter colony today. From a local who used them for a lizard he use to have. Got 60 females, 20 male adults and about 300 medium to small. To my surprise there was a HUGE female... after closer inspection I found out it is a different species of roach. Friend said it was a hissing cockroach. Looks that way to me also. Crazy to not know about it.Name: photo(1).jpg

Oh my... that roach is huge. I know I have some big adult dubia gals in my colony so in looking at a size comparison WOW..... What are you going to do with that thing....

How much did you get that colony for? And what do you plan on doing with the hissed cockroach? That thing is huuugeeee! I wouldn't deal with those roaches. I just stick to dubia Are you going to try breeding dubia roaches?
