    Default Repashy Price Increase

Just a heads up to everyone.

Repashy is increasing his prices effective December 16. I just placed a big order so I would have lots of inventory at the regular price, but once it is gone the prices will go up. Looks like about 10-15%.

If you need food or just want to stock up, now would be the time

6 months once opened, up to 12 months if you keep it refrigerated after opening, unless that's changed. I usually use it all before the six month mark.
Not sure how long unopened. Might be stocking up though because of the price increase..... :/

If you keep it unopened and store it in the fridge you can easily get away with 2 years.

This might be a silly question, but is there any use of storing the unopened diet in the freezer? Or is the refrigerator good enough?

Some people store it in the freezer. I have heard on the forums that certain nutrients might not survive the freezing process but I really don't know how much truth there is to that.

I got an email from Allen giving the breakdowns for how much the increases are going to be, but I won't post them here because I'm assuming that Matt would have received the same email and would have posted it if he so desired. Regardless...the price increases aren't going to break the bank on you guys. It's not such a significant amount that you won't be able to easily afford it. Allen is just trying to offset the costs of production and continue making money doing it. He hasn't increased the prices in nearly 10 years...much longer than many of us have even been involved with these geckos.
