Default My first baby! Complete with HUGE white shoulders

I can't even tell you the happy dance I did a few hours ago when I found this little one! I have been checking this egg daily for only about......FOREVER!! Very first chahoua I have ever hatched so I am beyond excited with what I found! He hatched out at 2.9 grams.

Him all curled up in the egg bin.

I picked him up and he flew from my hands landing on the table I was working on.

Just starting to calm down (or so afraid of that last jump he didn't want to move...yeah, that is probably more like it)

I can't believe the white shoulders on this one....I am in LOVE!

    Look at all the wrinkles!!

    Wrinkles!!!

Him finally in his home, I am going to have a hard time leaving this one alone for a few days while he gets used to his house!

For all those who have hatched babies, how old do you wait to start feeding crickets?

Any suggestions for names? Mom is Phoenix and Dad is Falcon so I want to keep with that type of theme.

    Mom - Phoenix

    Dad - Falcon

Pegasus! I love it, not sure why I didn't think of that before! I think that may be what I go with for this one!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osprey Aka Sea Hawk, Fish Eagle, etc. It's just another bird of prey that usually lives around water.
