Default Progression for Brazilian Rainbow boa. (1st WRE 2012 pickup)

The first of our WRE 2012 pickups. Got the best pictures of her of them all tonight. It's a female, about 2 1/2 to 3 months old. She is currently without a name.

Ooh, she is beautiful! I vote Aurora for the name. (I love the northern lights).

Thanks! This was the top remaining species on both my husband and I's Most Wanted lists. Got a killer deal on her too. Technically, she's not really a WRE pickup. She came from a guy who had an ad on KSL, not a serious breeder, only had one pair of BRB. But we met him while we were there in SLC for the show. She has a sweet temperament so far. The guy told us that his pair were both very calm and not bitey and that all of their offspring to date had seemed to inherit their temperaments.

She was out and about exploring last night and despite the terrible lighting and the glass, my husband was able to get a few decent pictures.

This is one of my favorite pictures of her! Just after taking a drink.

This one was just before drinking.

We finally settled on a name for this girl! Took a little while but it was probably inevitable. Named her ZoŽ. Thanks be to Boanyoo for the idea. We hadn't really planned on breeding her but now we might be forced to get her a husband to name Wash.
