    Default "RODAN": Rhacodactylus chahoua

    [/U]

RODAN! Talk about camoflage coloration - he's where it's at! This guy's declared himself to be MALE, and I'm in the market for a Pine Island or Mainland chahoua female for the spring breeding season. Anybody got a spare girl? Buy, loan, trade, or check my website for some killer cresties.

Rodan is a stud! He was such a striking juvenile and still looks great.

As I'm sure you know, female chahouas are hard to find... I bought a holdback 1.5-yr-old female from Allen Repashy at Tinley, so I now have 1.2, but I'm trying them together as a trio. They've been getting along great for a month now, but we'll see how they behave when springtime comes.

You've got two girls, John. Not fair! I want one of 'em! No excuses.

That is one nice looking chahoua you got there Dr Alan! If I had a female I'd pimp her out to him in a heartbeat!

    Dr. Alan,

If my two girls start fighting this Spring, I will gladly send one on a breeding loan with Rodan.

Allen Repashy said he keeps his chahoua in groups up to 1.5, with lots of hiding places, but Philippe deVosjoli said he thinks that is asking for problems. So I'll be a little anxious when the Spring warmup comes and they start getting active.

I had problems with 1.2 in a 20 high.... not at first, but as soon as one of the girls deposited eggs, I couldn't even put my hand in the tank. She was gaping and chasing the other female all over.

On another note... nice Chewey there, Doc!

    Isn't a 20 gallon high a little small for a trio???
