Lawnmower Rant... Share your pet peeves....

I know it's kind of out-of-the-blue... but I've decided I HATE mowing the yard. I'll be glad to move to Colorado where there's barely any grass. If I have to deal with one more anthill, one more freaky wolfspider running my way, and jungle-like brush that needs to be mowed.... I'm going to just rip up all the grass and put down rocks. Grass is on my bad side right now. Lol. :P Just thought I would vent my lawnmowing woes.

Alright... here's something, what are everyone's pet peeves? Right now mine are grass (any grass that gets long enough to need mowing... which is pretty much all grass), people who chew loudly, and grownups that wear clothing that wouldn't fit a 4th grader.

OK, here is mine and my husband's top one today: people who bring small screaming children to special events with keynote speakers who REFUSE to remove them even when the kid screams foever!!!!

We got to go to our friends Officer Candidate School graduation today . It was a really big deal, and it took a lot of effort for us to get there, and then...... PEEVE TIME!

I share your pet peeve about "adults" wearing toddler clothing . I can't stand anything emo or "fashion core", and all rap. I also have a special hatred for nearly all pop music. I HATE it when people are paying for merchandise and put the money on the counter when your hand is held out!!!!! (I'm a cashier.) It bugs me when someone says "Have a nice day" and the other person doesn't at least say "You too." or " Thanks". I can't stand it when I stop in the middle of the road to let someone go in front of me (in a car or on foot) and they don't even give me a courtesy wave. I don't like it when the volume on a TV or radio is set at an odd number. When I'm waiting on someone who is not paying attention to me/on their cell phone I want to kill! I think that customer service has that affect on most people...... Oh and I hate people that take too many pictures of themselves.... this is a quality that most people with a MySpace account possess...... You know it would be a shorter list of things that don't bother me .

I hate people who back out of deals after I talk to them for like 5 weeks. I don't like people who mumble or wear all this jelery in there mouth and then get mad at me when I ask them to reapeat myself. I don't like people who beep there car horn at me like 20 times when I 'm on my bike (it blows my ear out). I also hate teachers who don't teach orcan't speak almost any English I also don't like teachers who test you everyday on stuff that they didn't even teach (they say its to see how "smart" we are )

Oh wait I also hate it when fat people where thongs or some other similar clothing and want to show the world.

Oooo... that one makes me so mad too! I always wave "thanks" to everyone, so is it too much to expect a wave/nod/some-kind-of-acknowledgement in return? I don't think so. (I get mad just thinking about it. Lol.)

I hate it when I come up to a road and nobody lets me cross and I stand there for like 10 min. in the blazing sun (Im feel like flicking every person who goes by off) :wink:

Then when I do cross drivers beep there horns and yell at me (I get so P.O.ed)

There's a town up here where people just cross the street without looking and pretend like there aren't even any cars around! I actually came about 5 inches away from running over a couple in their mid 20's, and after that kind of scare I almost finished the job!!!

I have more pet peeves about driving than I can even think of...... A few months ago one of my pet peeves resulted in an accident. This 16 year old kid in his mom's station wagon put a left blinker on to go left and turned right....... while I was going around him on the right!!!! (It's perfectly legal to pass on the right in Maine.) And do you know what the best freakin' part is? He didn't even hit the brake or turn the wheel the other way. He actually pushed my car up over the curb! I was even turning away from him to try not to get in his path. I take it back. The best part is that he turned and hit me as I was passing him and pushed my car up over the curb and the accident was dubbed 80% my fault!!!!!!! :x :x I can't even express how raving mad I was/am. I still can't get over it.

my biggest annoyance is when people park to close to my car! i'm kinda anal about it.

Also can't stand when people are doing fifty different things while driving. No one seems to take it seriously anymore. Just the other day i caught my neighbor coming down the street READING the newspaper on his steering wheel! I got so flipping mad that i threw what was in my hand at his car. Unfortunatley that was my cell phone! He learned his lesson though.
