    Default Male or female?

    1 year and 3 months old. Looked female all the time, but yesterday (s)he tryed to mate with it's mother! :\ so I really wonder if this just is pseudo porers?

    It was biting and a full postition of mating.. "she" layed besides/over her and bited her in her neck. The tail was under the other females tail, just like a mating between male and female I've seen before.

    I've had females do that. Not sure of the behavioral significance, but perhaps goes back to establishing a hierarchy/dominance order. The lack of a male creates a void which a female fills. It's seen most commonly in all-female species.
