    Default Terrarium logs and such

I have a branch from an outside tree that I was contemplating using in my crested gecko terrarium but it is way to big to fit into a pot to boil, will soaking it in bleach overnight kill any unwanted stuff or do I need to boil and bleach?

I never thought about that how long do I bake them for and at what temperature? do I soak them in bleach afterwards?

You could wash them in a bleach solution (10 parts water to 1 part bleach is the common ratio) or bake it. When I've baked sticks I left it in for 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees. If you use the bleach solution rinse well afterwards. You can do both methods but it's not necessary.

I usually bake them at about 350-400 degree's F. for about 10-15 minutes. You can soak them in bleach/water mixture for a while afterwards if you would like but rinse well and air dry for a few days.
