Default These spots are growing on me...

I was never a huge fan of oil spots. It was lots of big inkblots or nothing. Until I saw this kid grow! I just LOVE the leopard spot pattern this one is getting.

I really can't wait to see what it grows into! This little kid is only 2g right now and got about 5 new blots last shed.

I wouldnt call those oil spots, they are just not as black as spots usually are. Normally since I am so damn picky on pinstripes (which is why I do not own any lol), I would love someday to see a super d pinner. I figure a handful of spots takes away from the pinstriping, but oh hell if youre going to screw up screw up big time and just load the thing up! Is the other side just as spotty, or are all the spots regional to the right side lol.

Right now they are mostly on one the one side. I'm hoping they even out soon :P There are a few on the other side but they aren't as evenly distributed.

I thought oil spots were just spots that aren't as dark as normal?

I'll try and get Little Buddy to pose for pics. He's another pinner who has taken to spotting, but this little guy is getting the nice dark spots. He's smaller than this gecko, but his spots are mostly just covering his back legs :P

Oil spots are best described as grease stains, if you take a look here http://www.pangeareptile.com/forums/...PENDENT-TRAITS!
I actually have 2 great examples of oil spots in there, you can see the black spots, some spots are slightly more pale, however if you look at the gecko on the right she is covered in oil spots, which have almost all faded now since she is pushing 25g.
