Default Custom LED Night Viewing Light

Decided to take my knowledge from saltwater reefing and apply it to my gecko. I was trying to find a nice night viewing light that I could fit inside my Exoterra canopy. Since I didn't find anything I like I just decided to make one. If anyone else is interested I can put together a DIY and parts list.

Worked out great! You can't even tell its there from the outside and it transfers zero heat to the tank like an incandescent bulb would.

I have a remote-controlled LED spotlight suspended from the ceiling above my zoomed, it's pretty fun =p

Nice! It looks VERY bright however. Is it disrupting your geckos night patterns? Just curious

I'll put one together this afternoon. If you are local I have everything you need besides the LED driver and LED.

LEDs always look brighter on camera. It's actually pretty subtle to the eye. I only have it on from 8pm-1am though so it's all dark the rest of the night.
