Hey,
I just built my leachie a new cage and I wanted to double check everything with the experts before putting him in the cage.
I used styrofoam & non-sanded grout for the majority of the cage. I then sealed it with matte mod podge, and painted it with a non toxic paint. I re-sealed it 4x (mod podge), and added substrate to the last layer for aesthetics. I just read online that mod podge isn't the best for high humidity, yet I'm hoping I can avoid having to re-seal the whole tank. There is no sealant on the bottom of the cage, so I can keep that substrate moist without worry. Any thoughts on solutions to this problem? My leachie is about a year old, I can add pictures of the cage when I get home tonight.
Thanks!!!
