I know it's not the best of photos, I didn't want to disturb this little one too much. Pleased as punch as this is the first crestie we've had hatch, just pacing the floor waiting for it's clutchmate to make an appearance now.

Well it depends on the degree of the "weird shape". to me it jut looks like a mild mutation that wont do any harm (just looks cool) but if there is a distinct wavy-ness to its tail it could be MBD, but it looks young so i don't know about that.
Better pictures would certainly helpBut If its eat'n and poop'n for now don't worry ^^ just keep an eye on it.

Here's another pic of the wee one, the tail looks fine now, think it was just the angle of the shot in the first one and it has a white marking at the center of its tail which made it look more heart shaped, many thanks for the links Boanyoo, I love JB's cresties
