I'm so sorry for the loss of your hatchling.Do you know what parasites were found? You might want to consider getting others tested.
He could have just had some congenital issues, that made him less likely to absorb calcium and more likely to be plagued by parasites that are otherwise kept in check by the body. The two issues could have continued to weaken him over time.

Thanks everyone for your support! I hope nobody else has to go through this. I feel like a horrible mom!
Thanks for your response Spyral. The vet said the parasites were flagellates. He said their numbers were a little higher than average, but he doesn't believe this could be the main cause of his sickness. I house everyone individually so hopefully everyone else is ok, but I did do a deep cleaning of all their enclosures with chlorahexadine last night to be safe. I have 9 others, most of them juvies. All of their poops seem normal, but do you think I should test them just in case? I don't really know how dangerous flagellates are in comparison to other parasites.
