    Default Salamandra's First Egg!

    I was thrilled to come home today after being gone since Friday night to find 2 egg boxes had been dug in and one occupied. Well the geckos haven't left me anything yet (think I'm getting Leachie eggs soon!), but my Knight Anole laid her first egg right in front of me! That's the first I've seen any of my kids lay! I'll get 1-2 eggs a week until she runs out since this species does not drop all of them at once and they have up to a dozen per breeding.

    Yes, Cuban Knight Anoles (that most likely came from Florida though). Generally considered tempermental like Tokays which must be why I like them. They've been together for barely over a month so apparenrtly they reallt hit it off!
