I've housed scorpions in normal 5-20 gallon tanks. Just be sure to get the type of lids that slide on and are secure. You can even put a lock on it. Depends on the type of scorpions you want to house. I've had Centruroides exilicauda housed this way (no lock though) with no problems. You just need to know the animal, how well it climbs, etc. Most pet scorps are not dangerous, if you are looking for hots (I would consider AZ bark scorpions mild compared to others) you'll want to take more precautions.

depending on the scorpion, you can use critter keepers or 10 or 20 gallon tanks, their is no special tanks, just use sand or dirt depending on the species. i have multiple scorps and kks work fine. A. arizonensis are great in kk's they dont need a huge tank either.

i bought 7--2 males and 5 females. i will definitely be adding to the scorpion collection but no super bad ones. Between the geckos, isopods and scorpions, i have become quite the night owl. At my age, i chase lizards, turtles and bugs rather than woman!!!!!ron

We are probably similar ages than. I mean I like girls and all (I have a Girlfriend). But I love to chase herps around In swamps. Frogs, skinks, camel spider, scorpions, geckos. I've caught all of those and bought all of them, lol
