Cold gecko?

Hi,

So my tank during the day is pretty warm getting warmth from a lamp and natural sun light. But every time I pick my gecko up his/her body seems pretty cold or not really warm. Is their anything I need to do or is it just fine?

Our body temperature is 98.6 degrees, so yes, the Gecko is going to feel cold. Your gecko will be the same temperature as your house or the geckos tank. That would have to be one hot gecko to feel warm to our touch.

Oh really, the ones that I held at the petstore felt a lot warmer. But that reasures me that hes ok.
