When to upgrade...
Hey all,
How big do cresties need to be before they can go into a larger enclosure? I just finished redoing my 20 gallon tall after its been empty for a couple months, and it looks so good I'd love to put the babies in it. My guys are about 2 months old is all, and it seems like a big place for little guys. I'm handfeeding them CGD, so finding food shouldn't be a problem...
Here's a pic...

Oh, and suggestions for improvement are welcome! It was originally set up for Uroplatus sikorae, so if there's too many branches or not enough plant, let me know! I have some trimmings from another plant I could add, but figured it looked good like that.

Well im not sure about that but i do have a suggestion about the cage. Well im no exspert at caging but i think it would looks and be better for the cresteds if you added more palnt. Good job

I bet by the time they are big enough for that tank, the plant will have taken over! But, I'd wait until they are bigger to upgrade. Or you can do what I did. My tiny crestie slept in her big cage all day, then I put her in a Kritter Keeper to sleep in and eat. That way I knew she was eating well. I stopped when she was about 20 grams--about 9 months old.

Is this better Foliage-wise??
I had some plant trimmings that were going to go back to the original plant, but my cats knocked them down for the last time and I decided they'd look better here...

Cool set-up..... but having Satan stare at them like that may make them drop their tails!
