Yeah girl, talkin' bout one of my favorite kindsa gekkas right there.

And yes, it's totally because they remind me of dinosaurs (Protoceratops, Triceratops etc what have you).
The name Stella fills me with dread.

OK, so this is why my webpage hits suddenly doubled . Nice pics JB. These are easily one of the favorite species I've ever kept. Unfortunately, I trimmed down my group to make room for some other new species and then had some trouble with a couple of females, so I'm not sure if I'll be producing more anytime soon. I may try to rebuild the group if the opportunity arises, but for this season I have a few new species that I haven't ever bred before and I'm concentrating on them. Although I don't get tired of crested geckos and others that I've worked with for years, the challenge of successfully reproducing new species is what keeps my interest high in the hobby. If I didn't add a couple of new species each year, I think I'd get bored. Therefore, I occasionally need to cut back on certain species that I've worked with for a while to make room for new challenges. I hope everyone that has picked some up recently has some breeding success with them. There was a while there where I couldn't find any bloodlines that weren't mine. This most recent batch of WC's that has come in to the country should refresh the gene pool a bit.
