And yes, it's totally because they remind me of dinosaurs (Protoceratops, Triceratops etc what have you).

OK, so this is why my webpage hits suddenly doubled

. Nice pics JB. These are easily one of the favorite species I've ever kept. Unfortunately, I trimmed down my group to make room for some other new species and then had some trouble with a couple of females, so I'm not sure if I'll be producing more anytime soon. I may try to rebuild the group if the opportunity arises, but for this season I have a few new species that I haven't ever bred before and I'm concentrating on them. Although I don't get tired of crested geckos and others that I've worked with for years, the challenge of successfully reproducing new species is what keeps my interest high in the hobby. If I didn't add a couple of new species each year, I think I'd get bored. Therefore, I occasionally need to cut back on certain species that I've worked with for a while to make room for new challenges. I hope everyone that has picked some up recently has some breeding success with them. There was a while there where I couldn't find any bloodlines that weren't mine. This most recent batch of WC's that has come in to the country should refresh the gene pool a bit.
