just wondering how happens when a stripped garg breeds with a reticulated. what comes out? pore stripes or reticulated? i dont know much but im thinking that the dominate pattern is probably reticulated.

It's a little of both. Last year was my first year breeding gargs and had 1 stripe and 2 retics from mixed parents. Genetics are not as cut and dry as dominant v. recessive with rhacs.
First year I bred these two animals:
This is what they produced:
These two animals:
produced these four during one season:
And this pair (same mother as pictured previously with the red blotch):
produced these babies plus another high color striped animal not pictured:
Of the animals from the red parents (both the red blotch male and the red stripe male), a blotch and a stripe were always clutchmates. The two retics from the black and white parents were clutchmates and the two stripes were clutchmates.
Take from that what you will. I don't particularly think garg genetics is strictly Mendelian inheritance. I have only stripe x stripe pairs planned this season. We'll see what comes out!
thanks for the info and the pictures were a great way of showing it.
