Hello there, Great Big World of Geckoness! I'm posting for the first time after some months of stalking . . . I mean, research. I just got my first juvie crested gecko from JB (thanks!) a few weeks ago, and I'm having fun with my herpetological ventures so far. When not misting my geck, I'm misting various types of cool-ish and exotic-ish plants, taking care of my charming youngsters, and playing with my nocturnal jazz musician husband. Also, I teach ESL English. So sometimes I care about commas and spelling and junk, but I'm also prone to typos. In addition, I like travel, cook and check out new restaurants, watch funny stuff, and care for my other pets (bird, fish, dog). Looking forward to learning more from everyone here!

Thanks! I picked up Oatmeal Cookie, a kind of lightly patterned yellow/orange juvie (out of Peaches and Erdnuss) just a few weeks ago. My daughter thinks the naming-your-pet-after-foodstuffs things is hilarious (she's 4), but my husband thinks we should name it Warren Buffet.
