Have Time Need Homemade Terrarium..

I was browsing the web last night and really couldn't find the size terrarium I was looking for. I think the room I have available is between 16-18x12xwhatever I want (the higher the better). I then searched the web for ideas on how to make a homemade terrarium. I have enough time on my hands to do it myself, but couldn't find a straight forward description. I was told not to use glass since plexiglass would hold heat in better. There aren't going to be live plants since I don't have a green thumb.. lol. Does anyone know where I can find directions or a step by step for a homemade terrarium?

This is geared more towards snakes and terrestrial creatures, but it will give you a general idea how to build a homemade cage.

I am going to attempt to build an 24"w x 18"d x 24"H tank this weekend. Should only cost me about $40 in glass and another $20 in misc supplies.

I will post pictures when I get it completed.

Sounds like a fun/busy weekend. Def. post pics and tips. I have an interest in this, but feel I wouldn't do a very good job. lol
