Default I built a rack for my crested gecko juvies and hatchlings

I built a rack out of melamine boards. No cutting required. $70 total cost.

    It fits:

    12 Large Kritter Keepers
6 small Kritter Keepers or 5 Sim incubators
    2 18 x 18 x 24 ExoTerra's or Zoo Meds.

I used 2 CD disc's on top of each other for the air gap spacing. Do you think that cresties will be able to escape out of that? I guess I will find out.

I am going to add some kind of a back board to it so I don't accidentally slide the KK too far back and leave an escape route.

    What do you think?

I like it! I use tubs though. I would like to see more racks made for tubs that holds 6qt, 20qt, 28qt 58qt and 73qt. I so need some. lol
I think the back board would be a great idea. And as far as the gap for breathing it doesn't sound like too much of one but these guys can squirm through some small spots so thats a tough one. lol I just hope you don't loose any!

So there's just a really small gap above each KK? That's the only air holes?

Yeah it's a gap around the entire top of shelf. It's the same design as a snake rack or a Leo rack. It's probably more open air space as holes when you measure the amount of open space. I might add some holes once I experiment with the humidity depending on how fast it dries out.

Yeah, I'd just power up a drill and go to town. You could use bins in the same design too, for a lot cheaper.

How's it hold two 18x18x24 exos? On the top? Not so sure it would hold the weight??

There is a middle support not in the photo. I added it after I took it.

I don't think any crestie could get out of a thin of a gap. I would worry about when you pull the kk out, and there was a crestie tucked up at top like they do, could it get hurt? I assume it is all sealed? Other wise, it looks good to me! though I agree with more ventilation. You do need to spray the kk for drinking water, but i don't think it would dry out the next day. you don't want mold problems
