I forgot to add the secret to the success of this shot. The pictures kept on getting washed out. Yeah, macro + flash = bad but no flash + shaky hands = worse. Anyway, I slipped my finger down over the "flashy part" and covered about half of it. Voila!
Yeah, so crowned is definately good. I hope it gets nice and big. I kinda don't like when the crests flop down too much. (see picture in rhac book, pg. 91. but maybe that's just the angle of the shot.)
