It's easy to understand. If the whole word is in capital letters, read it letter by letter. If only the first letter is capitalized, you can read the complete word. "Ducks" is ducks, but "LIB" is read letter by letter. Don't feel bad if you can't get it the first few times, you're not alone. My brother-in-law has a masters degree in education, is a high school vice principal (in Toronto
) and he hasn't been able to figure it out in almost a year since I showed it to him.
