I just noticed that Tigger's booty horns are dark. Is this normal?

One thing i notice is the lighting you use seems to be rather warm in tone. it adds a lot of yellow to the color of the photos. If you can use a cool tone florescent/coil bulb it will likely help with the color. Regular lightbulbs make indoor pics harder than heck! hehe - so i normally stick to lowering my flashes brightness and take pics of a low lit room. seems to make the colors pretty accurate. you can even take a piece of TP and fold it and tape it to your flash to act as a cheap diffuser. (every flash varies so would depend on how many times youd need to fold the tp)

for the pics - I cant say what your kids look like in person but this was my best guess..

first pic was adjusting clarity, brightness, adding some blue to the color and adjusting the exposure

second pic - all i did was add some blue to the color

i use a program called lightroom to edit all my pics. lightroom is a powerful photo editing tool that allows you to adjust even the tiniest details in the color, clarity and overall feel of the picture. now with a copy of original i was able to do a little. I cant adjust the colors as i would be able to with the actual photo (if you can take / save your images in .raw format, its soo much better)

you have to be careful not to "overshop" your photos though I work mine to make my geckos look how i see them but you can easily take your yellow gecko and make them orange. so you just want to try and be honest with yourself hehe.

you can do this with lightroom and photoshop. you can even do a lot of editing in a free program called gimp. while you cant do quite as much, you can still do a lot to make your image look better =D

Thank you. The first photo you redid is very nice. The 2nd one is very hard to get nice photos of and her/his color is more acurate in your photo!
