    Default Suction cups - keep falling off what do you do to keep them on?

    i am trying to make my suction cups stick on the glass for my crested gecko but like once a day 1 falls off and its getting annyoing what do you guys do to keep it sticked on better to the glass
    0.1.0 Bearded Dragon
    0.0.1 Crested gecko
    0.1.0 Leopard gecko
    0.0.3 Red belly Piranhas
    6.1.0 Betta fish
    0.0.1 Red Eye Crocodile Skink

    Quality of the suction cups could be to blame. My only suggestion is to get better quality suction cups.

    I would damp the suction cup first and also try to get all the air out when you press it against the glass. Usually if there is a airbubble when you push it against the glass it wont hold the suction.

    Clean the glass and the suction cup. Once it falls it won't stick in the same spot.

    i mist the glass first then they usually stay sticked on until its time to take them off for cleaning

    thanks guys i will clean the glass and mist both the glass and the suction and check for an airbubble

    Quality of suction cups do vary alot. There are some really good suction cups at Home Depot. Don't even need to use water or anything, the things just won't come off

    using water to get rid of air bubbles makes the main difference.

    Correction, they were actually from Lowes. The brand is InterDesign. They are really strong. The hooking part is a lever the presses the cup into the surface, while there's an exterior plastic shell that helps seal the surrounding vacuum.
