    Default Rubber Mulch Mat Substrate

I have been Pm'd alot about my rubber mulch mat substrate and where I purchased it. People are telling me that they are having a hard time finding it anywhere. I purchased both my rolls from Amazon.com.
So far, the small 2'X6' rolls, are being offered in red or brown. The red is more like a rust or dark clay coloring.
Shipping is around $10.00, but I'd spend that in gas and time, driving somewhere, 'if' they sold it in my surrounding area. (which they don't)
I am 30 miles from the closest medium size town, and they don't have it anyway. :-(

Just type: 'rubber mulch mat' in the search area, you will get alot of sellers to choose from.

This is what the rolls look like when ordering/searching

I had a little trouble, but that was because I was looking for an actual mat. It was rolled up in a compact little tube. Found mine at Lowes in the garden center.

This. I was at Lowes for an entirely different reason and a rolled up section of this slapped me in the face. I'll be picking some up there eventually.

Do you guys that have them just pull them out weekly and hose them down?

Oh interesting. Last year when I checked Lowes for the rubber mulch, it was in a flat circle with a hole in the middle for a tree... I'll have to go back and look for something rolled up. I didn't want to fuss with something that already had a hole in it.

Sweet! Next time I redo my cages I will for sure pick this up. Much better looking than paper towels.

Yes, stick em in the shower or bath, rinse them good and dry the bottom, put em back in.
