Talking "I'm going for a scuttle." - Dr. Zoidberg

Baby Zoidberg arrived safely this morning (from Mike of Dragontown Reptiles).

Strategically placed hat to, you know, deter stalkers. LOL.

OH MY GOSH MIKE YOU SENT ME A BOX OF PACKING PEANUTS HOW DID YOU KNOW YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE.

    Oh, there's something in there...

He left me a gift! ...or two or three!

When I first lifted him out of the deli cup, he took a flying leeeap and landed on top of my foot! So I placed him safely on some soft sheets for a quick photo shoot. His tail was sticking out and it made me lol.

Love the patterning on this kid.

    "I'm going for a scuttle."

    THANKS, MIKE!!!

    Hahahahahaahhahhahaa
I can't stop laughing at "read the paper towel" followed by 3 poops.

This is how Mike treats his customers...

    Nice pickup!

I'm glad everything went well... thanks again.

I would use a smaller food dish (like a bottle cap) though.

I know right! He looks like he could go for a swim in there. SO BITTY!!! I underestimated how tiny he would be -- obviously, lol. I had set up his KK, including the CGD, last night. I've already hooked him up with a smaller dish, though! I had ordered like 500 of various sizes from here, so I switched it out with a 1/2 oz. cup. Am I good, or am I good? That should work, right?

Open to any other tweaks if they're needed. I'm a first-time chewie mama, after all.

    Thanks! Dr. Zoidberg loves you...

This morning, as I was leaving for work, I spotted baby Z with his arm slung over his plant, just chillin'...

    Thanks so much!

I'm like smitten with this gecko. I had a few small crickets left the other night (I was trying to feed off the rest because they were so flipping annoying) and I decided to offer one to Dr. Zoidberg. He licked it several times, then munched it and one other. Tonight, as I was switching out CGD, I held the dish up to him and he lapped at it. Can geckos burp or hiccup? It looked like he did LOL but I don't know. In any case, I've really enjoyed hand-feeding him (but for the record have mostly left him alone to settle in otherwise).

Zoidberg's been here for a couple of weeks now. He's chowing down on his CGD and taking hand-fed crickets as an occasional treat.

Just some quick pictures from tonight:
