    Default Reptile Feeder Ledge remodel

So, I have these feeders that take HUGE feed cups. (wasting alot of food, & if I just cover the bottom, it dries out too fast)
I have 1 Gecko in each tank, so these are way too big for them, but I love the Ledge and Larger Rock Feeders, so here is what I did...

    Pre-mixed Grout + 1.5oz or 2oz feeder cup + .5oz feeder cup

Fill the larger cup with Grout

Push the .5oz cup inside the Grout/2oz cup

Wet your finger and smooth it out, add more Grout if needed

Let it dry for 24 hours, add a second cup for feeding

Not a bad idea. I'd be slightly concerned that the grout will hold bacteria and not clean well, though?

I just put smaller cups/lids loose inside the larger ones. Tends to work pretty well. I've got several geckos who will toss them around the enclosure if they find their cups empty, though (especially Leo, who's on a diet right now...)

Nah, once its totally dry you just scrub it hard People use it for backgrounds too afterall, and a gecko is more likely to poop on a background then where they eat (though I have had chahoua tell me what they think of one night's CGD by pooing in their dish haha)

I also put a clear coat sealer on them, but didn't have to, the grout is pretty safe. I did it for cleaning purposes.

Very clever!!! and the nice thing is that you can always use the big cups by just taking it out.
