I have read about people having eggs that are stuck together after being laid and know that generally you are supposed to leave them together rather than trying to pull them apart. How's that for a run-on sentence? Haha. Anyway, I have a pair that are stuck together and one is fertile and has a beautiful "red cheerio" and looks great. The one that is stuck to it has gone bad. It is discolored, never had any sign of a cheerio, and molded over.
What do I do? I'm afraid that if I leave them together the moldy one could possibly spoil the good one? Not sure if that's something to worry about or not. Of course I'm also afraid to damage the good one by trying to take them apart. For now I'm planning on just cleaning the mold off of the bad one as often as possible and leaving them together but I would love other advice and opinions.
Thanks guys :-)
