Thumbs down first tail drop ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately it came with my newest and most recent purchase Ram ... it happend this morning when i found him in her laybox with coco fiber all over the habitat and it seemed to be on his face and as soon as i opened the enclosure POW! there goes the tail so, i'm disappointed but realize that this is nature for them.Just would have preffered it to have been after the photoshoot i was going to have done this weekend.

Default Awwwwww sorry to hear that!!

So sorry to hear that, but you are right...it is nature...but still a total bummer!
Knock on wood I have not had a tail drop yet. However, I have bought a few with no tail. They are still totally awesome pets and breeders!!!
Good luck and sorry about your photo shoot!!

Here is one of my tailless cresties on his photoshoot!
A totally happy gecko with tons of personality!

I have this 'no tailless gecko' idea in my head, but there's no rational thought behind it. :P There are some tailless but beautiful guys available and I still shy away from them. It must be perfectionism. Maybe I should buy a tailless gecko to get myself over the fear of frogbutts.

thanks.I just wish it wouldn't of been the gecko i just paid a lot for.I really just think it was the eco earth. No biggie this was the male
    Rama

but he's already been in with
    Yosoda(who looks very preggo)

and when it happend he was in with
    Sundari

so I'm hoping to get a nice male out of one of these two breedings and i have a red & white female harli coming in a couple of weeks that he'll also be bred to then that should end his breeding season for this year. Now it's just a waiting game

I'm sure he is still beautiful. And now you never have to worry about him dropping a tail!!!!
