This photo was taken the day we brought tiny home....

This is tiny today (2 weeks later)...

Should I be worried about Tiny and his big purple spot?

what was this little guy housed on at the place you got him from? his belly looks healthy now, but it looks like he may have had some buildup when you first brought him home. as long as he's eating and pooping regularly you should be just fine.

I would be just a bit concerned about the gecko still. I will point out that I am no super expert, but my leopard gecko's bellies have never looked so pink and I have never seen a dark spot quite so distinct.

i've seen plenty of gecko bellies that look like both when they're really young. the skin on their stomachs gets less translucent as they age, which is why its not as easy to see through.

if you're really worried, you can always see a vet. but usually as long as the gecko is active, eating, pooping and drinking, has clear eyes, a clear vent, not bony, not dehydrated, you're in the clear. just keep an eye on him/ her.

It may just be my worried imagine.action, but I think his tail may be a bit thinner now which leads me to believe he's not eating too well. He was eating like a champ bit has lost a bit of interest lately. Which is the only reason I worry.

has anything changed recently in his setup? if you have the money, a fecal exam at the very least wouldn't hurt.

No major changes in the set up. But he hasn't poo'd in almost 48 hours, im sure which is attributed to his small appetite.
