    I just set up a new naturalistic viv. It's for my Phelsuma madagascariensis grandis, though could work for a Crestie as well, since they have pretty similar needs.



    From bottom to top- about 2" of lava rock drainage layer, double layer of weed cloth, 3-5" of organic potting soil.

    That's a nice viv Laura! Did you put the leaf litter in for a specific reason, like to hide or give the springtails/isopods something to munch on (if you have them in there)?

    Yeah it's primarily for the bugs, once I get them, though I like the way they look as well.
