    Default Overkill?

So, right now I have Maxwell (31 gram crestie) in an 18" x 18" x 24" (WxDxH) Exo Terra terrarium.

Well, I'm thinking about getting the 24” x 18” x 36” (WxDxH) Exo, just to give him even more room to roam, and because I spoil him.

    Is this too big? Overkill?

You can never go too big I think. Someone here built massive home for two of their cresteds.
Why not spoil that little bugger :3
The name Stella fills me with dread.

Never to big, as long as he finds his food.
and uses the extra space, then that leaves you with his empty cage to occupy with another critter

That's a 65 gallon tank, it will be heavy. I would think it is over kill for a single crested gecko and will result in alot of glass to clean. My 18x18x24 tanks seem over sized for single crested geckos.

Like he said above. Hes doing it to spoil. Im sure he knows that its going to be alot to clean. But If I myself, could buy my guy something that big. i would. Im sure as long as he planted it heavily, and gave him a ton of climbing logs, he would make use of all the space available to him

In reality, if he is a subadult are large, the bigger the better, he does not not that big of cage, but would like it.

Ok, so I went ahead and got it. I didn't picture it being this big, but it's pretty friggin' huge.

It took Maxwell 3-4 night to get used to it, but now he seems to love it. And the 18x18x24 I had him in is now home to 3 red eyed tree frogs.
