A Quick Question about Cresteds...

Hello everyone,

I am currently looking to purchase my first crested gecko and while I have two in mind, I would like to ask a question of the forum. I understand that cresteds are fed on a mixture of CGD and the occasional live prey (crickets). What I have read on this forum leads me to believe that some young cresteds do not take easily to CGD if they were not started on it right after hatching and that it can be difficult to get them to eat it after what I would call a "critical period". That being said, one of the cresteds that I am interested in is from crownjewelreptitles.com and I just wanted to ask if anyone knows if their available babies/juvies are fed CGD?

Yep, Erica's geckos are all fed CGD with the occasional insects. Several in my collection were bred by Erica, and they don't have any issues at all eating CGD for me.

(BTW - Erica is also "darwin" here on Pangea)
